What's up with Carsten Charles?

Another rough one for CC tonight.....111 pitches in 4 and 1/3?

Pitchers
C Sabathia (L, 6-5) IP H R ER BB SO HR PC-ST ERA
4.1 10 5 4 0 2 0 111-75 4.50

Jhonny Peralta, known by some as the Yankee (pronounced Jane-kee in the DR) killer, is officially en fuego. He's now hitting .296 after tonight's loss. He's hitting .407 over the last week. And, our man Omar? Hitting .301..pretty amazing for a 38 yr old. Pluto also mentioned that the Yankee killer only has 2 errors over the last 46 games. I am much happier seeing a fresh face at SS with this squad.

Nice to see Cabrera (23) up in the bigs:

"It didn't take long for Fernando Cabrera to assert himself. Called up from Buffalo after Monday's doubleheader, the right-handed power reliever took over for Westbrook and pitched three scoreless innings, yielding two hits, no walks and striking out four.
As in his first big-league test last year, Cabrera's demeanor indicated that he feels this is where he belongs, probably because he does."

His line w/ the Bisons:

"At Buffalo, Cabrera compiled a 6-0 record with three saves and an 0.99 ERA in 27 appearances. In 45 1/3 innings, Cabrera yielded only 33 hits, nine walks and struck out 62."

Nice Pronk - AL Player of the month (first Indian since Thome in '01)

"..... .345 batting average, eight home runs, 29 RBI, 22 runs, a .736 slugging percentage and a .430 on-base percentage."

Trevor Crowe - already called up to Lake County (Team Carfagna) after hitting .255 with the Scrappers
