Closing in on the Twinkies
Latest from ESPN on the Tribe:

OF-3B Casey Blake hasn't played since being taken out of Saturday's game against Baltimore with a stiff nick. Blake originally injured the neck while taking a nap before Friday's game against the Orioles. Blake tried to play on Saturday but was taken out after one at-bat. He then was held out of Sunday's finale in Baltimore and missed both games of the doublheader against the Tigers on Monday. "I had a chiropractor crack me today," Blake said in between games of the doubleheader on Monday. "My back is aligned straight, it's just a matter of allowing time for the tissue to get better." When asked when he might return to the lineup he said, "Hopefully when I wake up tomorrow I feel like I can play.". ... Another absence from the Indians lineup was 3B Aaron Boone. Boone missed both games of the doubleheader because his wife, Laura, was induced into labor on Monday and gave birth to the couples first child, a baby boy. ... After hitting three homers Monday, DH Travis Hafner has 10 homers and 34 RBI in his last 21 games. "He had a big day for us," Cleveland manager Eric Wedge said. "He is a very consistent hitter and doesn't give up any at-bats."
On the minor league front (from Kevin Goldstein's Baseball America daily report):

Nice tidbit on Coco and Grady's ridekeulous performance in the past month:
"In 21 games this season -- two having been played before June 4 -- Grady Sizemore has been the Tribe's leadoff hitter, and Coco Crisp has batted second.
Over this span, Cleveland's record is an amazing 18-3, going into Monday night's game against the Detroit Tigers.
During this stretch, Sizemore is batting .362 with 23 runs, 14 RBI and a .412 on-base percentage. Crisp is batting .337 with 16 runs, 14 RBI and a .378 on-base percentage."

God bless:
ROSTER MOVE -- Kazuhito Tadano was optioned back to Buffalo after the first game to make room for second-game starter Jason Davis.
I have as much confidence in Kaz as Kane Davis circa '00.
